Brothers and sisters: Listen to what I am saying.
Two men cross the street. Each man is crossing at the same time. The first man carefully looks both ways and proceeds to the other side. The second man does not look. Instead he is distracted by his surroundings. He never crosses the street but instead remains distracted.
That is how my lost brothers and sisters are. You become so easily distracted that you never make it across the street. You remain in the same spot. That is how your prayer life is. You begin to pray and become distracted, never moving forward crossing the street to my heart. That is why I tell you, you honor me with many words but your heart is far from me. Begin to remove the distractions from your life that keep you from crossing your street. I love you and I am blessing your efforts. My heart is open for you.
